Underpinning - Mini Piles

Here is the drill in action, installing a drilled in pile or a mini pile. You can see the sections are short. They're about 10-feet long. He's fitting one in place. Now he has it engaged the drill will begin installing that section of pile. You splice on sections until you have the length that you require.

We've gone through some very basic methods: needle beams to capture a concentrated load; underpinning pits; and the very versatile drilled in piles. I think that gives you a good head. start, a good understanding, and you can begin to solve underpinning problems- whether they are small and local, or whether they are very extensive in scope.
